Carter D-10 Undercarriage

Post by James R Foster »

Hi All,

If anyone has pictures of a stock late nineties Carter D-10 undercarriage, I would greatly appreciate some copies. I bought a guitar that's been highly modified and have no idea how to get it back to stock (if there ever was such a thing). It's an 8 X 5. The Es were split between L and R knees but I've put them both on the L Knees as a start. Not sure how they came if it wasn't custom.

Thanks,
James

Thanks Dave. I’ve already got those. I need pics because the knee levers have been moved and the linkages have been changed. Even some of the cross rods are out of place.

This may help you. We use this picture for customers so they can tell us the length of rod they need

Yes! That helps a lot. Thank you!! This is my mess. As you can see, the LKLs have all been relocated and the crossbar from 4 is now at 0. Image[/img][/img]
If anyone has closeups they would be greatly appreciated.

It seems the bracket mounting holes on a ‘90s Carter D-10 don’t line up with the previously posted pics of what I think are post 2000 guitars.

So,……if anyone has a pic of a ‘90s Carter undercarriage that would likely do the trick.

Thanks again,

James
